Cody is a media professional with 14 years of creative and operational experience across the media spectrum, including digital, social, film, audio & experiential. He began his career in the feature film industry, where he mentored under an executive producer and learned first-hand how to execute a creator’s vision whilst simultaneously protecting the interests and finances of the studio. After six years of learning how to bring films to life, he transitioned to the digital space when he joined BuzzFeed as their first production and operations hire. While there, he helped scale the video department to match the company’s explosive growth, and learned the importance of both quantitative and qualitative data in refining creative output. Most recently, Cody oversaw production, operations, media, and branded content for The Players’ Tribune.

Cody’s areas of expertise include: creative development and physical production oversight of myriad multimedia formats, client/account strategy & management, publishing strategy, social media optimization, and P&L management. As a data-driven decision maker, he successfully positions an organization for efficiencies as they scale. And as an inspirational leader and people manager, he is committed to coaching, challenging and mentoring others.

A native of Mt. Kisco, NY, Cody now lives in Brooklyn with his wife, daughter and catahoula leopard dog. They enjoy exploring parks, attending live music, and gardening.
