Maggie Chong

Maggie Chong is an incredibly successful real estate agent with a wealth of experience and firsthand industry knowledge that stretches back to her childhood. And while she is considered the go-to broker for first-time homebuyers, she is well-versed in working with sellers, buyers, investors, and renters at various price points.

Maggie possesses expert negotiation skills and a keen sense of value, and her vast knowledge of the overall industry, specific market trends, and local inventory enables her to provide a superior level of service. Diligently guiding clients to ensure a seamless process, she prioritizes discretion and client needs. She keeps her client's best interests at heart and helps them find the most promising opportunities. Her integrity and endless commitment to client relationships make working with her an enriching experience.

Her clients appreciate her ability to explain the process in an understandable and thorough manner. Having purchased her own co-op unit and then renovated and sold it, she understands all the technical and emotional elements that her clients go through during the buying and selling process. She knows the ins and outs of co-purchasing and co-ops' gifting process, and she also has experience with high-end rentals. She leverages her ability to optimize spatial layouts and help buyers or renters envision their ideal living space.

As the daughter of a top real estate producer in her hometown of Oklahoma City, Maggie was inspired to jumpstart her own career in the business in New York City. After living in downtown Manhattan for 12 years, she now resides in Brooklyn. She is a true neighborhood expert, and she remains current on the latest restaurants, lifestyle destinations, and the history of locales throughout New York City.

Before real estate, Maggie worked in the fashion and legal industries. She is an active member of the New York Junior League, the New York Public Library, and the Brooklyn Public Library. She served for several years as the Encore Co-Chair for the School of American Ballet's Winter Ball as well as the Vice President of Success Academy's Young Professional Committee.

She is a graduate of New York University with a double degree in History and East Asian Studies and a minor in Politics. While at NYU, she studied abroad in Shanghai and London. In her free time, Maggie enjoys cooking, reading, running in Prospect Park, and traveling. She is a contributor to Seasonal in the City: a cooking blog that focuses on recipes for seasonal produce.
